Milwaukee's Michael McGee: Further evidence that the left vote mindlessly...

I have often asserted that the left in America vote like mindless sheep. They never hold their politicians responsible for even the most criminal behavior. Yesterday's election only served to reenforce that assertion. Michael McGee is the Alderman for Milwaukee's 6th District. He is a total embarrassment to the state of Wisconsin, much less the city of Milwaukee. He has been arrested for having 2 drivers licenses with different names and addresses, but his picture. He was held for contempt of court for lying on the stand during a trial. Yet, he was re-elected with a 64% majority.

Yet another shining example.. Good job ParaTed2k. Another interesting point. Indiana's bloody 8th district, notorious for its extremely close races had yet another one in 2006. The incumbent was Rep. David Hostettler, and new comer Brad Ellsworth. Brad Ellsworth won pretty handily. The biggest issue in the exit polls? The Iraq War. Ok, everything seems pretty typical to this point. Now... Let me show you the votes From Indiana in Roll Call Vote 455 of the 107th Congress on authorizing use of force in Iraq. IN: Visclosky: Nay Roemer: Yea Souder: Yea Buyer: Yea Burton: Yea Pence: Yea Hostettler: NAY Carson: Nay Amazing.. if the number one issue was the war..why did the left vote out the guy who voted AGAINST it?

Nice catch, Smith2028!! It's funny how everyone just takes what they want from the last election. Facts don't seem to matter anymore.

They do vote blindly... I read your PS. in one of your answers and can only say that if he had been a republican, he would have been finished before the elections. I am tired of the one-sidedness, and although no one is perfect and all candidates have flaws, why is it those flaws only count if you are not a democrat? Is it only because the liberals care? That is total male bovine biological by-products!...hows that for being P.C.?...:) The liberals don't care any more than any other political group, they just are better at lying about it.

Good morning all, Shall we mention Diane Feinstein's appropriations sub-committee resignation after being called out by liberal weekly papers (which is absolutely amazing!) for funnelling war contracts to her husband Richard Blum's business interests (Perini and others) to the tune of millions in personal profit? Where's the outrage??? I don't believe that Ms. Feinstein should be co-sponsoring any bills until she's faced formal charges of war profiteering. Bohemian.com was instrumental in breaking the story. So, I'll provide a link to their copy. But, be forwarned - the name is apropos. http://www.bohemian.com/bohemian/03.14.07./byrne-0711.htm

Darnit! The second link is not accurate either. Well, y'all can bypass the link problem by checking out 'Diane Feinstein and war appropriations resignation' on Freerepublic.com Another REALLY interesting point in the article is the fact that one of Mr. Blum's business interests have received multiple VA supply and real estate contracts from the war appropriations sub-committee . So, not only have Mr. & Mrs. Feinstein been getting rich off the American taxpayer, they've been doing so off the backs of our injured veterans!!!

Thanks for the heads up on this one. We'll count Diane Feinstein as yet another example of how the left loves the corrupt.... as long as the corrupt have a D after their names.

Many people do vote according to their political party. They don't bother to become informed about the candidates past records. We should call the candidates' offices and ask questions about what the candidated believes in and how he/she feels. I all ways seek out such information. And sometimes I volunteer to work in the offices of the candidates.

I'm glad you are willing to get informed and involved. YOu are right, too many just blindly vote the party line and don't care.

Hey Flowerchilde, don't be shy, you can say that King Doyle lied through his crooked teeth about challenger Mark Green. Don't be afraid to name names. King Jim Doyle accused Mark Green of illegally tranfering senate campaign funds to his gubenatorial campaign fund (much like Hillary just did for her presidential campaign). You can come right out and accuse the Milwaukee Sentinal Journal and whatever rag people read in Madison of knowingly going along with the lie. King Jim Doyle is a crook who would stop at nothing to get reelected so he can continue raising taxes to feed his pockets (and those of his buddies in the Teacher's Union, Indian Gaming and Highway Construction). Don't hold back, feel free to say it as it is.
