I have always used Miracle Whip just because. My mother used it. I was never really a fan of the product for use in sandwiches until my husband made me a sandwich with it and I loved it. When they came out with the low fat I bought that because I'd rather go with healthier. Then I got two free jars of real mayonnaise. I made both a meat sandwich and an egg salad sandwich for my husband. I asked him when he came home from work if he noticed any difference. He said he didn't. Then I tasted it. Don't much care for it. I prefer Miracle Whip.

For some reason I just don't like the taste of Miracle Whip. I prefer real mayonnaise. It causes problems at picnic time because I usually get asked to make the macaroni salad. My boyfriends sister and aunt only like Miracle Whip, so I have to make two dishes. If I don't, they will bring their own Miracle Whip and mix it in. I will eat miracle whip but only if I have to. And I have no preference to my mayo being low fat or regular.

Ok, nothing on a sandwich but what about tuna sald, or potato salad, or egg salad. Would you use mayo or salad dressing? Thanks for your response

There's something about Miracle Whip that I really don't like so I use Mayonnaise. I don't like th fat free so I buy the light. It tastes just as good as the regular and I'm saving on the fat, at least a little.

I agree it got to be too tangy the miracle Whip. I do prefer it for turkey sandwiches, but use mayo for everything else. Well that is not totally true I use half mayo half miracle whip for my potato salads, not as dry and pleases everyones taste without being too tangy. Thank you for your response!

I only use Miracle Whip. Mayonnaise seems slimy and I can't get an image of lard out of my head.
