I need some quick recipes for dinners that my kids will actually eat. They aren't really picky, but they are getting tired of the same old stuff every night. Any suggestions on how to mix things up? My husband can cook anything as long as he has a recipe and I have looked on all the websites and it is taking too long! There are literally millions of recipes and only a few are actually good for kids.

If they like Chinese food I have a quick fried rice recipe. I cut up some of my favorite veggies (carrot, cabbage, green beans, peas, etc) and grab a handful of peeled shrimps and two good size of chicken meat. I cut the shrimps and chicken into cubes. I make a batch of rice set aside. I stir fry onion, garlic and a dash of salt, when browned I add in the veggies. Then I add the chicken when it is somewhat done I add in the rice and shrimps and stir fry it all together. Then, I add two eggs and some salt and soy sauce. Easy and good for you(lots of veggies). Hope you enjoy it.

I usually make creamy chicken and noodles with peas. You can use a whole cooked chicken, debone it and cut into bite size pieces and a can of cream of chicken soup and 1/2 cup to 1 cup of milk and desire of egg noodles, frozen or can peas ( or any veggie) and mix all together. The heat from the noodles should make the meal warm enough. Enjoy!!

I have a recipe and a lot of the things on there are things I cook for my kids. Their favourites are pasta with a quick sauce made of chopped onions, mushrooms and peppers with tomato paste and herbs topped with some mayo. They also like rice with stir fry vegetables, noodles with a mushrooms and soya sauce topping. If you want to see some ideas go to http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk I am intending on addinga kids section to the site where my daughter can put on her favourite recipes so if you check back in a few weeks you can find them.
