AC writer? Me too, just joined (^-^) I'm interested in writing poems and short stories. I think this two would be much easier than writing for a serious articles. Any AC writer here who writes poems and short stories? How much do you earn for each short stories? And does poems qualify for payments? Or there's nothing to earn from poem writing?

Havent heard about this kind of writers guild yet,so will you please be more descriptive and specific about the AC? What does it actually offers? And is it open to International members aswell and how do they pay, whats the medium of their payment?Have you ever paid by them yet? Or just another scam site exploring so much out of you for their own pocket!

It's a site where you can get paid by writing articles, if they publish the content that you've submit. I'm new to it and I've just submitted my written poem this morning, but I would be hearing from them for about to 5 business days if they would going to publish my content or not. If they choose to publish your articles they will going to make you an offer of how much they think your article worth. There's so many AC (assocoatedcontent) writers here on mylot, and I've read they pay $3 - $8, but it depends on the quality of your article. It is free to join. You can visit the site at http://www.associatedcontent.com

I think this is international, because you will be ask which country you are from when you register. But it would be a good idea writing in english because you would attract more readers.

I'm sorry to say that AC does not pay for either. But if you look at a link on the AC forums called "Other Online Gigs" there are dome good leads to places that do pay for those things. Good luck!

Thanks for responding moonshadow (^-^) I will look at it, maybe there are links to good paying sites for those writings aside from Triond which I've just joined. Also, I've just submitted my first short story to Triond for approval, and also submitted a picture,( a picture of a twin radish) he!he! I think I'm gonna enjoy this site. Thanks for the info!

Actually, you can earn from ShortStory and prose. If you do good work and promote your stuff, you can get some revenue from page views. Just email links to your work to friends and family and tell them to pass it on to their friends and family. That way, you'll get lots of pageviews.

I haven't submitted any for payment yet, but you do get bonus from them-per page view. It's also a good way to get the exposure. You can submit for payment and see what they say. What's the worst that could happen? They say no.

Hi! Unfortunately, Associated Content doesn't pay for Short Stories/Prose, so while it might be easier to write them, you won't get paid for them. You can read about that on their FAQ page. Of course, you can always still write stories for them for the sake of being published! But if you want to write for money, you can't submit stories/prose for payment :(
