Life is wonderful when you share it with a 2 yr old

Our excitement for the day was exploring at a local park. We were very excited to see the ducks and various other birds. Everything new amazes a child and sometimes I wish that I still had that excitement about everything like my son does.
Do you ever give much thought to life through the eyes of a child? What are your thoughts about it when you do?

It is a great idea when you are a parent to think about life through the eyes of a child. All children need to have their feelings understood. The world can be very exciting for young children as they start to explore things. Two years old is a time of wonder where children are just at the right age to start enjoying walking around or being pushed around in a buggy their local park. It is lovely to see a young child feeding ducks with some pieces of bread. All the birds appreciate this very much indeed. Sometimes children wear wellington boots and can gently paddle through a deep puddle of water on the ground in the park. I suggest taking lotds of photos of your son's fun times. It will be lovely to show him when he is older.

Well, maximax8, I just noticed in your profile that you are about to have another of these amazing wonders.
I love, love, loved the infantcy stage getting to love, hold, snuggle, cuddle and best of all the baby breathe... there is nothing like it. I was sad when all of the sudden I realized my son was a toddler and all that was gone. He is now two and a half and every day if full of wonder. It just keeps getting better and better.

Being with children is truly a wonderful and happy experience. I always enjoy the times i spend with my kids. Aside from the bonding that is being nourish, and the love that is being shared, the learnings are there. They learn from me and i learn from them,too.

If we see the world from the eyes of a child, the place seems more exciting, adventurous, and definitely better than what we see ..
Children are pleased by just looking at a kite flying in the sky... if you give them a small present it will mean a lot for them.. i presented my sister's daughter with green glass bangles and she wore them day and night.. she would stand in front of the mirror for hours nad say.. mom i look so preeeety.. !!
children are like that .. they enjoy simple joys of life which we grown ups normally miss in order to be happy someday..
we keep on running and at the end when we reach our goal we realise we dont have much time left and have not enjoyed what was given to us..:)

hello makingpots, what a good question you have there, it caught me and makes me think what would be life is through the eyes of a child. I think, a good way to live our lives consciously in this world is to look the same way as children with fresh eyes. To live our lives more like them, than like us.
No greed, malice and distrust.
