pirates vs original

for me, it depends on the movie. if the movie happens to become a favorite, i'd definitely buy an original copy. but usually, i get pirated copies first so that i could review the movie before getting the original. coz some movies are really worth buying originals. c',) hey, i love buying those 12-in-1 dvds for P100($2). hehehe.. c',)

you can't beat original now can you. There are very few pirate copies that look great... I mean really great. But most of those dvds are really crappy. off course original cd's or dvd's have the good quality than pirate copies..because thats the ORIGINAL copy..even it prices are ORIGINAL..compare to a pirated copy which is more cheaper..

i prefer the original.the box is usually better,they're so cheap at walmart now,it costs about the same as if you'd got a pirate copy.

Actually, we did own quite a number of pirated dvds before. But after we joined dvd clubs on the net, we opted to have original copies. Not only do we get the best picture quality and all those special features, we're also guilt-free that we're condoning the acts of dvd rippers and pirates which admit it or not, tarnish the image of our country as one with lax copyright/ intellectual property rights enforcement. You can just visit amazon.com or columbiahouse.com. I tell you you'd be more proud to show off your dvd collection if they're all original. :p

LOL I also collect the pirated dvd's But I'm really picky, I choose the clear picture, and if the quality if the picture still not good enough, I don't want to buy it. For some good movies, I like buying the original one, but it also depend, if I can get it by copy, I will copy it :D

Skee-rew pirated DVDs. Not only is it immoral, but the picture quality is in the proverbial toilet. You look like a pretty girl, don't get involved with pirates. :(
