I really wish there was a way to tell if your friends are online when you are here at mylot or not. It would make it nice to send messages when you are eager to get a reply...Does anyone know if there is a way, maybe I am missing it somewhere?

The 'online indicator' that you're talking about is not available here at MyLot i think. I will be kewl to have thar feature. However if you're eager to know if your friends have started a new discussion and you can respond to it right away, you can always turn the notification to ON at your friends list page. Whoever that you turn in to ON, when they start a new discussion, you'll be notified by email. and you can set an alert to your email, so if you have a new msg you'll notice instantly :). hope this helps. cheers

Don't you get your messages in your inbox? like I do. you need to go where you signed up, messages in your inbox. I think you should check the box to go to your email. I hope it helps.

I know they do that on MY space. Maybe they are working on it
