My Cat Seems to have a cold

Bright Eyes is stopped up like she has a head cold. I've never had a cat with a cold before and I'm not sure what to do. She's been spending a lot of time under the bed and I'm not sure if that's what's caused it or something else. I know that I had the A/C on in here the other day and it got rather cold so I don't know if that's what created the problem.
Do any of you have any ideas on what to do? I'm in no position to take her to the vet financially or otherwise because I don't have a car and she's 22 pounds so I can't carry her.
Let me know if any of you have an idea on what to do.
Thanks...

From what I read I take it she's drinking and eating all right? Just a bit stuffed up. That can happen. Cats can get colds just like us. Try putting a little vicks or bengay on the tip of her nose. Not much mind you just a dab. The menthol will help break up any congestion. Check and make sure that her nose isn't blocked with any nasties first. You may have to wash that off to clear the nostrils. Our vet also recommended using a human decogestant nose spray. We use the one that says "Nasal Deognestant 12 hour spray with Oxymetazoline hydrochloride". I believe it's the generic of Afrin. Just try to get a couple of drops in the nostrils (forget getting it to mist up there. Just a drop or two will help)
I doubt the a/c on it's own did it. She probably just caught a cold.
If she stops drinking and eating or becomes listless try and get her into a vet. See if there is one that will allow you to make payments. I do understand how going to the vet isn't always an option. I know I've been there myself. If you can call around now before hand so that way you have one for just in case and perhaps check with a friend who might be able to drive you.

Thank you so much for the great suggestions. I have some Vick's menthol rub so I'll put a tad of it on her nose once I can get her out from under the bed again. She loves to sleep under there. So far she is eating and is acting fairly normal and I did pray for her so I'm trusting God to heal her but I will try what you suggested as well. Thank you for your help.

I hope she is feeling better today. I doubt she'll like the vicks on her nose, my cats don't, but it does work.
