Goodnites undergarments commercial. Those kids should sue!!

Goodnites undergarments - If you were 10 years old and had to wear these, would you want to go on television and say so in front of millions of viewers?? I don't think so!!!

You know that commercial where the tweenie kids talk about how bedwetting ruins their lives and embarasses them. Then they tell how Goodnites have made everything better. Now imagine you are one of those kids going to a birthday party at The Hamburger Palace with your friends. The party clown recognizes you and splits a gut laughing. Or your school mates tease you unmercifully. It doesn't matter if this is a fact of life for these kids or if they are actors. This is going to end up to be an embarassment for them one way or another. You just don't make a little kid talk in front of the entire country about bedwetting!!I would imagine that some therapist and some lawyer can both make a lot of money straightening these kids out with years of therapy and a few million paid by the company in damages for character defamation and pain and suffering. Some advertising just goes way too far. Including the commercial where the guy stands up from the bubble bath, full frontal, and says...SPONGEBOB NO PANTS!! to his wife. This is just too funny but tooo wrong.

Oh, come on. It's the kid's choice, so let the kid face the consequences themselves of being that hungry for TV time. Nobody is MAKING them talk, and most of the time, other kids won't notice them on the commercials, unless they are watching the same TV that mommy and daddy watch.

I disagree with you. I tend to agree with the response above, it's the parents greedy for the money. When I was a little kid I knew every commercial by heart...there are youngsters who will know that commercial, believe me.

I think that the stratigicly place bubbles have kept that commercial from falling in to the improper catagory. As for the bedwetting commercial I blame the parents for allowing the children to do the commercial.I mean they do have the power of attorny over the children and the jobs they take.I do not believe that suing is the answer for much of anything.

You're right. The parents would have to give permission, so it's their fault the kids will be scarred for life, actors or not.
