I am a freshman. I want to know how can i get the star, and what is the means about the number (8,9,10)in star? Thank you for sharing your experience.

you can get the star if you start to have 100 responses...your star will still be like small by then and not 8 but by and by it'll just increase :)

Immediately after posting the 100th response you will be alloted a star with reputation points in it.The reputation points keep on increase or decrease based on the positive or negative rating given by others to your topics and responses.I got a 6 marked in my star after 100th post and yesterday my rating increased from 9 to 10 and am really feeling happy for this.
