what is bluetooth??

hi friends i want to know what is bluetooth technology. of course i know it is used for data transfer. but what else can be done using bluetooth and what are the other softwares connected with bluetooth.. please help me out..

bluetooth is a system that use radio frequency for comunication. Data can tranfer undergo this frequency. technically every hardware and software can use bluetooth.

what else can be done using blue tooth. my friends created some stupid rumors about bluetooth.. i just want to know if it is true..she told that it is not a safe one, since people use it in a wrong way.

bluetooth like other radio technology using air frequncy to transmit. no software needed to transfer via bluetooth, just connect two unit that has bluetooth connection on both unit, then a signal appear in each unit. eq. handphone to pc, both must have bluetooth signal to recognize to other. then the signal appear to both unit.. transfer data as you like.

Bluetooth is a next generation technology.It is just like radio signals that you received.Blue tooth enable mobile can share data with your pc with a blue tooth dongle attached with your pc.Generally no need of software necessary for bluetooth but for device driver software installed in the pc. You may transfer any device from to pc to device and vice versa.
