Did the exit of Viera, Wiltord, and Perez stab Arsenal in the back?

Ever since Viera, Wiltord and Perez left, Arsenal appears to have lost their gun powder. I cannot imagine Arsenal losing to West Ham those days even if they were down to 9 men! But a full squad was beaten this season by West Ham. Did the exit of Wiltord, Viera, and Perez take off too much from arsenal?

I personally think Wiltord was rubbish. We paid something like £13 million for him but he did score important goals. I think Pires was the most important player to leave arsenal. He is a winger who can create goals and you can tell henry misses him badly. Hleb and Rosicky will take time if they want to be like pires. But still its hard to find a player in 'pires' quality. Viera was a legend but we had him for 9 years and Wenger thought it was the right time for him to leave. I still believe the future is bright for arsenal. The good thing is that we have so many young players in the first team compared to our rivals. This will be crucial in the coming seasons.
