Reposting old discussions?

I was just wondering if there is a rule against reposting an old discussion that didn't get any responses the first time around. I have a few from back when I started that I still think were pretty good. I'm guessing they got overlooked because I was so new and didn't have friends when I started them or maybe I started them at busy times and they got buried quickly. I don't want to get in trouble by reposting them though so I thought I'd ask first if anyone knew if that was allowed. Thanks!

I can't really give you an answer since I am still very new...but I would also like to know the answer to your question.....thanks for thinking of it for me, Foxy.

Well it looks like we got our answer...and the answer was NO. It was worth a try though!

It's against the rules to post duplicates, so reposting old discussions would be included.

I knew that was a rule. I was just hoping it only meant not to post the same question under multiple interests at the same time. Thanks for helping!

I think that it says somewhere that you can't post duplicate discussions. I believe that it may have been in the guidelines.
I think that all you can do is to hope that one of your friends will look through your older discussions and hopefully be able to add something to these discussions.

Another thought... If you still don't get any responses, maybe there might be a friend who you would feel comfortable asking to look at these discussions? Sometimes I will go back through a friend's older discussions and try to comment on some that have no responses. I do not respond to all though, because I only respond if I have something to add.

Hi, as far as I'm aware it is against the rules, although if you re-worded it i'm sure it would be ok. Because mylot is busier at different points in the day, discussions might be missed. I would go ahead and repost, but just word it a little differently.

You can just send PMs to some of your best friends in mylot and ask them to look at certain discussions and respond if they like it, you can offer doing the same thing for their zero discussions. promising giving them a "best response" if they do is an abuse, just asking if they will take a look is OK. This is the best way to get these discussions at the top again and they can receive some more responses. I believe reposting them is not allowed as it's "copying and pasting" of an existing discussion.
