Boss Metal Zone

Please report your experiences with Boss MT-2 Metal Zone... on the internet there are a lot of bad reviews about it... What is it more suited to? What about different genres? What about lead or rhythm guitar sounds? Is it good alone or is it better coupled with other effects?

Personally i havent tried it but i have also heard a lots of bad reviews about metal zone. They say that it sounds to squealing! And also, that DD2 is better distortion than MT2..
