I'm just listening to this for the second time now. Has anyone else heard it yet? What are your intial thoughts of it? I listened to Reason quite a bit (lyrically a couple of songs hit me) and adored Northern Star in it's hay day. Admidtly I didn't give beautiful intentions much of a listen. Not though lack of liking it, I think it was just flooded around a lot of other more interesting releases/discoveries for me. If you haven't heard it yet, do you plan to listen to it? Buy it? Besides the bizarre and very funny cover of 'I Want Candy' I haven't heard a song that my initial reaction is ... 'eww I don't like this... what is this?' That is always a good thing I guess. On first listen my stand out songs would have to be Carolyna and Protected. Both lyrically striking an initial cord for me. I'd be surprised it this album takes her back to the success of the Northern Star era though. At the end of the day, as far as I'm concerned, with a listen/purchase if you are into the pop, adult contemporary, easy listening thing, or if you were a spice girls/Mel C fan.

I haven't heard her new CD. But I really liked the dance version of "I Turn To You" from one of her prior CDs.
