Is there any comparison ?

I would have to say that going from a career to an "at home Mommy" that BOTH are challenging. I miss my career but also know how miserable I was trying to maintain both family and work. I was away from my kids from 5am until 7pm in the evening and felt like I was losing my husband. The laundry piled up and we lived on take-out! I never want to put my family through that again. Leaving the family to go off to work is a necessity for most of us, unfortunately, but like MILLIONS of others, I'm trying to build a "career" from home to hopefully fulfill that little independent side of me that NEEDS to work. AS long as my family is taken care of, I hope to find that happy medium. :)

my father even would compromise family time...it's really like that...no one's going to compromise work just for quality time with family..in this day of so much busy people...i can hardly see them sleeping!
