Hi Keng It's my dream also to become a teacher dear. I am actually doing my degree and I intend to become a business teacher. Well, as far as my research suggests, the good quality of a teacher is primarily to be patient. Patience is a virtue. A teacher must be patient in order to be able to understand each student without getting frustrated due to their weaknesses. The ideal teacher must analyze the needs of his every student and must understand him. So that whenever, a student faces some difficulty, the teacher knows which approach to choose. I also believe that nowadays, a teacher must be more friendly with his student. Above all, a good teacher must be well prepared for all his lecture and must bring reference materials to assist his lecture. The student must include interactive learning in the class, that is delivering courses through the use of projecting slides and by making students visiting educational places. This will bring the students closer to the teachers and closer to the subject matter. I think I will know more with time when I will become a teacher...:-)

To be a good and effective teacher you need to have care and concern, patience, love for what you are doing and the students, enthusiasm and make sure that you prepare adequately. I love your dream because I have the same dream and I believe you will be an efficient as well as effective teacher if only you will give it a try. Great dreamers;great achievers. Good luck.

What does it take to be a really good and effective teacher? That's easy. To care about your students and what happens to them. You have to want to teach them so that they may have a brighter future. That's the problem with today's teachers. Most of them don't care what happens to the child after they leave their classroom. They don't care whether the child passes, fails, or even learns anything. I have roughly 120 students each day. I care about each of them. I care whether or not they pass my class and the other classes they are in. I care about what they want to do with their lives. I do the best I can for them and let them know that I am here for them if they need anything. That is what it takes, in my opinion, to be a good teacher.

just two things:love and preparation. first, you must love your students, believing your love can be felt and they will give you a reward in return.not only in the class but also try to help them withtheir other problems. second, you must prepare well before you really teach them.you should be knowlegeable about the suject you teach, and think a lot to ensure the ways you teach can interest the students. what i mentioned above is my ideas after my teaching practise.i hope it can do something for you.
