Tigger is 6mo. old now and as you can see in his pic, not so wild any more. My daughter just adores him and wants to hold him all the time. lol He still can't be picked up or pet w/o hissing/growling but no longer attacks us. His fave places to be scratched are his ears, neck, and chin. Sometimes his tummy as well. Doesn't take long for his hissing/growling turns to purring and boy is his motorboat loud. That's when I pick him up to snuggle in my arms. He is still insecure about it so will grab whatever he is laying on until he feels secure again then will let go and hold onto us. Think he will always be a lil insecure cause of his rough start in life. Still don't feel like he's ready to explore the rest of the house on his own just yet although I will take him around in my arms so he can look. Lil' Bear and Lightning still don't like him which I don't understand cause Lightning would always take any kittens I bring into the house under his paw after a day or two. Not Tigger which has me totally puzzled. Tigger wants so bad to be with him but yet knows Lightning don't like him so stays back and just looks at him with a hopeful look in his eyes. At least he doesn't hiss/growl whenever we enter his room and actually peeks out at us to see what we are doing. Still won't play with us either but he sure goes to town at nite when everyone is sleeping. lol Come morning, I walk in to see to his needs to find his room looking like a tornado went thru it, which in a way, did. A Tigger tornado. lol Found out Tigger HATES bathes when I bought some no-rinse cat shampoo and applied it all over him b4 rubbing him down with a towel. He tried biting and scratching me and got me twice with his teeth but I don't blame him. I just kept right on talking to him the whole time then bundled him up in a big thick bath towel and snuggled him. Started purring almost instantly. He will take food out of my hand on occassion. Piece of cheese, meat, anything I offer to him out of my hand so that's a good sign as well. Will stop for now seeing as I need to scoot after noticing the time. Should of been gone already. lol Will update later. Tc my friends and hagd Karen
