The Wynn Hotel

I just got back from one of my favorite cities, Las Vegas, and went to the elegant Wynn Hotel. I just wanted to share my experience. First warning-there is construction right next to the hotel and I would suggest asking for a higher floor to help with the noise. Other than that I loved the hotel and can't wait for my next trip. There was a wait to get into our room and the wonderful check in representative sent us chocolate strawberries and a note aplogizing for the wait. The room view was to die for I was on the 57th floor overlooking the golf course. If you like to play golf you will enjoy this course. The service was great! The room was decorated beautifully and the bathroom was spacios and also had a flat screen tv. Check it out, great hotel!

Las Vegas is wonderful, but I wouldn't stay at the Wynn Hotel anyway as it is very pricey. There are many hotels on the strip that are more value for the money. I did stay at the Las Vegas Hilton when I was there last time and that was nice as it had the monorail right outside that took us all over the strip. It's an old fashioned hotel though and not really the best deal in Vegas.

Sometimes you just have to treat yourself to some of the better things in life. By comparison, Vegas hotels still have some of the better value than most other cities, try getting a room like the Venetian in San Francisco downtown or New York or Washington DC, with similar amenities and service. One way to do it cheaper is go Sunday thru Thursday, less crowded and cheaper rate. The only problem is some of the shows go dark during those slower days.

My son is dying to stay there, even though he was still too young to participate in all the activities. We were at the Wynn to eat while we were therefor the NBA All Star game. The hotel was all decked out in red because it was Chinese New Year. Looks like all the rooms have a great view, either the strip or the golf course, some of the other hotels, some room gives you the look of the casino roof or parking structure. I have stayed at many of the other hotels, next to try is the Wynn and the Signature suite behind MGM.
