WATCH OUT!!! LEAD in LIPSTICKS!!!

This information is being circulated by Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dioxin Carcinogens causes cancer and especially breast cancer. Watch out for lipsticks which are suppose to stay longer because of the high lead content. The lipstick brands that contains lead are....
1. Christian Dior
2. Lancome
3. Clinique
4. Y.S.L
5. Estee Lauder
6. Shiseido
7. Red Earth (Lip Gloss)
8. Chanel (Lip conditioner)
9. Market America-Motnes Lipstick
How to test if your lipstick contains lead? Follow 3 steps as follows:-
a. Apply lipstick on your hand.
b. Use a gold ring to scratch on the lipstick.
c. If the lipstick color changes to black, it contains lead.

Someone sent this to me in an email not to long ago. I was quite frightened by it initially and then later found out that it is an urban legend. You can read about it at the link I provided below. I do however applaud your efforts to pass it on, since you were apparently as shocked as I was initially! Sometimes we don't know if these things are true or not, and until we find out whether they are true, it is best to err on the side of caution!

Thank goodness we have a nurse in our midst. Crazy or NOT *wink* I was indeed terrified when i read the mail. Not that i put on make up habitually but it was just out of concern for everyone. Thanks a zillion!! - Lyn

Good for you!! I don't wear lipstick as well. I personally think make up with the foundation, etc.. takes too much time. I am comfortable with myself and how i look. Thank you for replying Katlady. God bless! - Lyn

Thanks God i don't use lipstic of brands u described! But For curiousity I will try test with gold ring on lipstic I use :)
