Iran Blinks: Tries to hide mistake as a little excursion.

So the British Marines are released with little gift packages? Thanks for visiting our country? Who do they think they are fooling? They couldn't put the marines on trial because the facts would have had to come out. They couldn't say "we're releasing them because the did nothing wrong". So they try to make it end like a visit to Disneyland. What a weak way to hide the fact that they KNEW they were stepping into some dangerous territory on their own. I had to laugh out loud. This was the blink seen around the world!

What is disturbing is the way the rest of Europe and NATO did not react. This was a caculated step by Iran. We can take your sailors and you and your friends can't or won't do anything about it. Iran knows that it has a friend in America - nancy Pelosi refused to allow a resolution to demand that Iran return the British Sailors. Iran learned a lot from it, Germany, France, Russia, China non of them did anything to help the British. The British should have demanded the return of the sailors after they released the information that they were seized in Iraq Waters. Fail to have them returned swift military action should have been taken. Attack the Revolunationary Navy, then the Iranian Navy along with radiar instalation. The world needs to isolate countries like Iran, Syria, and North Korea until they stop supporting terriorist.

Oh I don't think it was disturbing...I think the world got LUCKY! This whole exercise with the war in Iraq and conflict in the middle east is one of the models for world war III. Iran was perilously close to making it a reality. If Nato and Europe had reacted, what do you think the headlines would have been for the next 10 years? We ALL got lucky.

yeah we got em out. The one that got me was the little remark about them enjoying their little holiday, sooner or later someone is going to take on this ragime and give them a lesson they so richly deserve blessed be
