I learned how to change a tire when I was 16 years old from my boyfriend. I was a terrible driver and had a lot of flat tires. I HAD to know how to change one. How about you? Do you know how to change a flat tire? Where did you learn it and when?

Yes, the jack is always the hardest part for me. That's becuase the jack that comes manufactured with the car is always a shi**y one. I wish I had a better one.

I learned to change a tire when I was in my 20s and single. It was really out of necessity since I got a flat once and I was just with another girlfriend in the car. She was really the one who showed me how to do it. I was so proud of myself that I could change a tire all by myself. That was the first and last time though.

nice to see you back after a loooong time.... well i learned how to change the tyre when i was 12 years old from my dad. In those days it used to be a big event! but now its a simple job with the availability of improved tools. As a kid its a great feeling to lift a car using a jackie, i felt as if .... oh my god! i never knew i'm so powerful to lift a car!!!

I can change one but I always carry a can of fix-a-flat in the trunk for not so bad flats that will usually make the tire last until I can get it to the tire shop, but for really big flats There really isnt a choice.

Good for you. you know how to do it. I have not tried it yet. Tire is too heavy for me that I have to find muscled men good enough to do the job
