United States

I was just channel surfing and found ESPN Classic...there is an old American Gladiator show on. What was it...in the early 90s??? I used to love this show. It's very entertaining and fun to watch. Anyone a fan? I sure wish they would re-do this show. :)

I had forgotten that show. I remember it from years ago. Some of those people were pretty tough. It was the first reality show on TV and it was a big hit with many people. Now there are more reality shows on TV than ever before.

American Gladiator is back and is on right now. They have new Gladiators who look stronger than the previous ones and pretty intimidating. One contestant injured her leg early in the game and could not continue. It looks pretty intense as they have the same battles as they did in the previous show.

I used to watch this show frequently and loved it very much. It was very entertaining. They were certainly very strong and athletic and would have put me to shame for sure. It was amazing how strong they were and wish that they still had it going. I definitely miss that show. Maybe they will with different people.

I used to watch the reruns when they came on the USA channel! I loved that show - Turbo, Diamond...I need to see if my digital cable has ESPN Classic, it would be a hoot to see that again.

The most hilarious thing is to see the hairstyles and make up of the contestants. You can tell it's the early 90s! LOL

Yeah, and you would think they were the first ones to invent the tanning beds too!
