Special toys & relics from your childhood

I still have my most precious toys since my childhood. They include a big double jointed baby doll which Santa brought to me at Christmas, a toy sewing machine which I also received from Santa and a set of doll's house furniture which my grandfather made for me.

Oh, I remember that I loved my train set. I always played with it, a barbie doll, and a Garfield stuff toy that my aunt owned. I don't always use toys to play sometimes I'd play make-believe stuff with my sister and we didn't need toys for that.

I remember two things fondly. My first teddy bear with had one eye replaced so he looks a little off now. And he went through several washings but I have kept him this entire time. My daughter, 5, now has him. It is special to her because it was special to me. I also remember loving "Little People". You know, the wooden ones? Now they are all plastic.

I had this bear that I absolutly loved. I dont remember what company made it but it was expensive, like I am thinking at least $100. It was called ballerina bear. And my brother and I were bored one day and started smashing our stuffed animals into each other. Well ballerina bears head/ neck broke. So I ran and hid her. No one ever asked! Not even when we moved, I hid her so good she never turned up! So a couple of years ago my brother and I told our mom, and of course even now she was not amused! That was one of my favorites though! Also I had an American Girl Doll named Samantha that I really liked. And my snork sneakers!
