can you tune an instrument by ear. i can. i guess it's my dads fault, he bought me my first instrument and they didn't have electronic tuners back then. do you use an electronic tuner to tune your instrument or just your ear

When I was starting to tune my guitar, my uncle always told me that it's more better for me to know and distinguish the sound of every note from it. I do not rely that much in electronic tuners, the most important thing is synchronization. It's a trial and error procedure, but it's also the most helpful method if we really want to learn more about music.
