Rainbows

Why are there rainbows? and what do you think the pot of gold is?

rainbows are beautiful band of colors, in the form of circles and half circles. you can see rainbows in many places -- in the spray from a lawn sprinkler, in the mist of waterfall, and in the sky just after it has rained. you cannot see a rainbow on a cloudy day or when the air is very dry. this is because rainbows are formed from two thing: sunlight and drops of moisture in the air...(the book of knowledge, 1988). as to the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, its just a myth in a children's storybook...

In the Bible,the rainbow was part of a covent God made to man after the flooding of the world to show he has not foresaken us.The pot of gold could be just the beauty of the land as the sun appears to help warm us again.
