When you were a kid did you picture your life the way it is now? What did you want to be when you "grew up"? I never thought my life would be the way it is. Having so many problems. I don't think that anyone really warns you about life and how it is a butt load of dissapointments and excitments at the same time. When i was a kid i thought i would be a lawry when i grew up. Now i work in an office i make good money don't get me wrong but im not a lawry thats for sure. Although i do love my job. What about you?

Perhaps when I was a kid I really did not have enough thoughts of what I would be, that's why I need to dream a good one to pursue this late lol. Its never too late to dream and think of what you'd be in the next few years or so... go ahead dream.
I may not be content of my present achievements at the moment but we can reshape our thoughts and dream again. If you dream long enough and hold on to it, you may wake up one day to see your dream come true.

No, I didn't picture my life how it is now. I wanted to be a news anchor, but that dream changed before I even really grew up. I never thought I would become this sick, this young. So much has happened that I had no control over. My parents always told me life wasn't fair, but hearing it and experiencing it are two different things. : )

Well i hope im not imposing by asking what is wrong with you? I'm sorry that things didn't work out. Everyone has something different that stopped them from becoming what ever they wanted to be. What kept your from being what you wanted to be?

Ah, you learn as you go. In some ways I'm astonished that I've got to do some of the things I've done, despite everything. Better than I would have expected. At least I can now say I've done/am doing the things I wanted to do, and more, with or without the materialism. Ultimately, the question is "Did I want this?"
Disappointments and excitements come with the gig of being human. Every generation is different; you can't warn about something you've never experienced. So many parents wonder "where they went wrong", when they never really had a chance to get it right. For the last 50 years, every generation has grown up in a different world from their parents. Even the people going through it with you have to play it by ear. Growing up, you learn. Grown up, you have to figure out if it was worth learning, and how much of it still applies.
"Butt load" is a good description. That's where it all belongs, and where it should go.
