So, I am here to stay...

I was checking out a site, very similiar to Mylot. The only thing the site offered that Mylot doesn't is no payout date. Meaning as soon as you hit the minimum you can payout to paypal. BUT... it was only .01 PPR where is Mylot is .03 PPR. I spent 5 hours typing new discussions and responding to others and managed 250 PPR. I also did their pay to click program and got an extra 25 cents. After ALL my work, and giving myself a headache (which I NEVER get headaches) I rounded up 2 dollars and 75 cents. WOW!!! Hardcore huh? So, it got me thinking though. If I can post 250 PPR a day on mylot that's like near 5 dollars. Not including the other stuff you can do here for extra money. Yes, so we don't get the benefit of paying out when we want. BUT... atleast our payout is WAY better. I just want everyone to know I research a lot online for my buisness. I have found Mylot to be the best PPR site out there. Stick with this. No you may not be able to type 100 wpm or 250 PPR a day like me. But you will still make better money here, rather than anywhere else on the web to date. I will not give out the sites that I don't prefer, for the simple fact of "website bashing" which I totally disagree with. Yet, if you don't trust me go right ahead and look some of 'em up on a search engine under Pay Per Response or Pay to post. If you have any comments feel more than free to leave them here. Thank you :)

Thank you for sharing this observation with everyone. Personally, I do not know anything about the other sites. I have stayed here in mylot only. Most of my hours in the computer are confined here in mylot except for the moments when I feel that nothing comes out of me worth sending to mylotters. You know, it happens to me sometimes when it seems no words come out fitting to make a sensible response. When this happens, I do games.

I am glad to hear my information is appreciated. I just don't understand why people get upset about the PPR. Thing is I hear if you have a good rating, you get more PPR. SO, them complaining is probably what is keeping there earnings so low. O well, if they don't like it they can go use those boards that pay .01, hope they enjoy getting carpal tunnel. :)

I used to join one site that works the same way as mylot. You earn a cent automatically for every response you make. But I found the site too dull and lifeless. Like I'm not talking with a person but more like a robot. The good thing about mylot is that you can feel the rapport going on between friends. You can strike an easy conversation by responding and commenting back. I always went back to those who commented on my response. Lately though, I wasn't able to check back on my responses. Too many things to catch up here. I'm glad you find mylot a better site than others. Happy posting, lord. :)

I know that site!!! lol. It almost makes you feel like a robot yourself. You just type and type and type pointless responses and topics, and you make an easy cent. It was lame!!! I hope mylot never comes to this. I don't think it will either.

Cheers :-) - Cheers, all the best,
I checked out a few of these sites before coming onto MyLot and I would rather be here than anywhere else. Good conversation, good friends, and a payout each month (however small that may be) so I'm glad you are staying here.

I have been to other sites also. Some sites are now even closed for failure to pay their members (scamming) and there is no other much better than myLot. myLot is paying a higher rate compared to them so I could not understand sometimes why some members here are taking this fact for granted. There is no more free money. If you want money, let us work for it, we just have to avoid scam sites where our hardwork could go to waste.

Indeed. I have to laugh when I get a referral link to a site, and the site isn't even open anymore lol. Shows how well that site worked out, eh??? I hope this site stays around for a while. I enjoy the discussions, if not anything else.

Mylot does appear to be one of the more reliable sites on the net as far as paying forums go.. It does not pay a lot, but then none of them do. I think it is smart to belong to several sites. There is often something going wrong with these sites and they close down for repair or something. Then you can just go to the other one.

I know a guy that joined 4 or 5 of these sites, and would post 5 or 6 topics a day. The same ones on all of them. He said he actually made a living doing it. I don't see how. :P I am not saying you are doing this. That guy was a spammer, but I see what you mean. I know some of the sites that "close down" completely. So, I hope that doesn't happen here.

I think they pay you for just about everything now. Blogs, pictures (if they use it for an interest, they pay you). Plus, it has the best referral system to boot. They pay 20% of what your referrals make to you. Not that they take it from them. So, if you had a referral make 100 dollars in one month, that is an extra 20 dollars to you. It is every month that they post too. I have never seen a referral payout that high. This site is nuts. I can't find something they don't pay you for. If you are typing something intellegent and worth hearing. You are probably going to get paid for it. Best of luck, friend.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your experience with some other PPR sites. I am pretty new to doing all this and I sense that I was quite lucky to stumble across Mylot. I have met a couple of new friends and have gotten a lot of new information and ideas that I NEVER would have thought of. I am a stay at home mom of a couple little ones and it is kind of nice to have somewhere to discuss things with other people over the age of 5 :). I am still trying to figure out how to make more money from it though. Don't get me wrong...I love just being able to converse with others, but I would at least like to know how the money is made on this site. You said Mylot pays .03 per? Is that for everyone or does it vary? Just curious :) Thanks!

For me I find it is different, it all depends on your "rating" the star next to someones name is how you are rated on this site. I have never seen a perfect 100/100, but I think just having a 9 or 10 gives you from 4-6 cents a post. It also depends on your length and accuracy on the topic. They do check your posts, to make sure you are not just responding with "yes" and "no". Just from your response here, I can tell you are off to a good start. Good responses with atleast a paragraph of discussion is the best way to go with ANY topic or response. Not only does it optimize pay, it gets you good ratings. Everything on this site, posting pictures, responding to blogs, also pays. So, don't just stick with discussions. And now, I teach you the golden ticket to money making with this site... "friends" not just any friends. Good friends, with good ratings and I personally try to make sure they have more than 200 posts. It shows they are hear to conversate and give their opinions and discuss not just make a quick 2 dollars and leave. That is about it. Just get involved really. Good luck! :)
