On food, are you curious on what you and your family are getting from certain product? Do you read the nutrition info? On non-food, do you check if they contain harmful ingredients?

You have to remember what you are buying to make sure that you can sue the company when something goes wrong. It also keeps the credibility of the company to know which product to buy. It simply defines the whole product you want to buy. It is a breeze to find what you like to buy when you know the name. 8-)

I always see the ingredients in a product before I buy them. My religion restricts me from eating certain types of food, so I have to be careful and not to choose food that I couldn't eat. For non-food products, I will make a check too. I wouldn't want to buy something which I couldn't wear or could jeopardize my health.

Yes, I usually check the labels at the back to check the sugar, sodium, fat content of the product am buying. I do this especially with snacks or juice that my toddler loves because there are certain juices that sugar is way more than the soda itself. I check if there are transfat too or lots of sodium. For medicine, shampoo, beauty products I do especially now am pregnant and there are certain ingredients that is harmful like retinol, etc. We just need to be vigilant on what we are purchasing if not all the time, but most of the time.
