Ever had a time where you're looking for a rock to crawl under?

Ever wished you could take back something you said or did that was so embarrassing, you just wan't to crawl under the nearest rock and hide? Many years ago, when I'd just started dating a girl, we went to a party. We had a few to drink and slept over. The next morning we were dropped off at the girl's parents place, because my car was there. Now because I didn't want to drive under the influence, I asked her father, who was a policeman, whether he could breath test me. He did, and I was over the limit, so couldn't drive. My girlfriend, just for interest sakes, asked him to test her, and when she leant forward to 'blow in the bag', the hickey/lovebite on her neck was exposed! "What is that on your NECK" he growled, by which time I felt..... Well, I think you could guess! Anyway the girl is now my wife, but we don't see her parents anymore.

Smooth move! When I was in 9th grade I played a really bad trick on a friend involving disguising my voice that I regret. I still can't tell it in case she ever comes to mylot. If she ever puts it all together I WILL crawl under a rock...

When I went over to my mother-in-law to be's house the other day we were all sitting around and talking. She started showing pictures of family that I had never met, they never talk about their side of the family so I know nothing about these people. She showed me a pic of a man and woman all dressed up and standing outside of their home, I noticed this man was pale as new fallen snow and I jokingly said, wow he needs some sun, to which my mother-in-law replied oh him, that is my brother and he is very sick, he does not have much longer with us. She was not mad but I just wanted to die! The man had no other signs of being sick he was just very pale. I always say the wrong thing at the worst times but I topped myself with that one.

Nice one! At least she wasn't cross, but I can imagine things felt a little awkward for a while.
