my earning is about $12 when i just look into it again and saw $11.66. i was really shocked about this incident. can somebody please tell me how am i doing here in myLot. did i affect my earnings just by posting less than the usual? what did i do wrong for mylot to give me such punishment? i need some possibilities to improve myself here in mylot. i think mylot needs to point out that tiny specific detail on what did gone wrong and not just deduct it from our earnings here. My opinion is that mylot needs to be more specific and more meaningful about the rules in here. Don't they want the users who contradicts them sometimes?

My experience on this is that you have rated every comments, discussions unnecessarily. This is the only reason. You should rate only one comment per topic. Avoid many ratings at a topic. This has happened with me. I have experimented on it. One day I rated only, not took part in discussions. My earning gone down automatically. I stopped rating to each comments. Now no down payment is observed since last 2 months.

is that so? then i will keep a track on my comments and ratings now. usually i respond to all the answers given to my discussion and then rate them. now i have to be careful. thanks for that. :)

oh! almost all of my discussion i rated all the response with '+' only a few i leave unrated because it doesn't really related to the discussion. Is this a bad thing? I mean, to give all the response a '+' ?

You're wrong pramodthakur. Of course you can rate it all! Just remember not to rate responses as negative because that will affect your ratings. If you don't like a response, just leave it there. Don't rate it as negative. It happened to me, and my rating went down to 6. But I'm happy that I was able to cope-up. I just rate the responses which I like as positive and my rating increases to 8.

This thing is commonly happening here. If you happen to have responded to some discussions which were deleted, those deductions take place and is reflected in your earnings and points. Most of the deleted discussions are those which had encountered some protests from users from around here in mylot. They could have carried some implications which are not acceptable to others or, it could be that you have responded to some discussions which had been a copy-paste of someone else's work. So, as you can see, this is beyond your control. I usually encounter these deductions, too, no matter how much I try to be as cautious as can be. Put this behind you therefore, don't be discouraged, and just keep on mylotting.

Have you ask the mylot admin about this? If not the possible reason would be; you have response to discussions that have been deleted which are suspected spam, some of your discussion are deleted, or some of your responses are too short or don't meet the mylot standard. But I think the best for you to know the reason is to email mylot contacts since they are the who really knows that. They response as soon as they receive your mail.

The biggest reason you're going to lose money is from your referrals. Sometimes they lose money, and so will you. I think another thing is when your rating goes down on some posts, you lose more. I'm not positive, but it's always going to be the same thing. SOMEONE did something wrong, regardless of whether or not it's you, the staff here, or simply an individual you referred to mylot. Make up that small, 34 cent loss by posting more, and finding yourself posting better responses.

you didn't do nothing wrong. usually when mylot deletes the contact- users that are abusive they erase them and everyon's response to their posts or their response to your posts are also deleted that is why you see a smaller amount that you had before. there is nothing to get scared about. go and read mylot guidelines and you will see all of the rules. if you are following them. you are okey:)

Just be very careful about what kinds of questions you respond to. People post things on here that are prohibited, but other posters answer their questions, even though they are not permitted. As you can see, once those posts are deleted, so are all the answers and if yours is one of those answers, then there will be an adjustment in your earnings. I avoid those questions because I can see that eventually they will be deleted and then my time has been wasted.

but we don't know what's real from what's not. i mean, we don't know who really is the first one to post that kind of discussion. simple things do really mean a lot but in this case, we, the avid responders are the losers here. we gain demerits for the things we did and don't know that it is wrong! that is so unfair on the part of the responders.

This same thing happened to me when I was last here on mylot and my friend told me it was probably because mylot deleted some discussions or something like that. she said that when deletes a discussion or bans someone then anyone who has responded to one of their discussions will lose points and money as well. The last time i was here I looked and found that the rating and my earnings had dropped, so think that she was right. She also told us that we should not rate everyone with a + but only the really good ones because if we rated them all, then it meant we were not choosing which ones were good. So it was better only to choose the good replies and leave the rest alone. I have not been here long enough to know but she has been a member for 8 months so I think that she should know something ..... at least we hope so because she is helping us.

Don't worry my dear, it's not that you have made something that makes the staff here get angry with you or whatever but because there are topics that were deleted. If you happened to make responses on discussions that were deleted then those earnings will also gone. Just always remember that it's a good thing to posts on discussions which are not duplicated. Many of duplicated questions were deleted because there were too many topics have been made concerning it. Discussions with many responses recieved has a higher probability of not being deleted. If I was you, I should choose the best topics carefully. For all those who want to start a new discussion please make sure that it passed on the standard of Mylot rules and terms of agreement. This will prevent future problems such as deletions and reduction of earnings.

The earnings dropped probably because some discussions you responded to were deleted. Either that or some of your responses were deleted. You are supposed to observe a drop in your rating as well..

Well, I think the reason for this is because you have violated some of MyLot rules. You better read them, the "do's" and the "dont's". This will serve as your guidelines. Check them out as early as possible. Anyway, you can make it up soon. Goodluck!

Nopes dear friend, you haven't done anything wrong. All we need to know is how can we lose money on mylot. First of all all one liner responses are deleted and there money deducted. It means that all one liner responses anybody posted will get deleted after sometime when examined by mylot. Secondary do not respond to one liner discussions as they are of new use and will be deleted. Third and last thing which even I'm not sure why they find many of our responses not right under their guidelines. Last one is a crap really.

if your answer was too short it could be deleted or if the discussion you applied to was deleted then all the comments are deleted as well.

They have an algorhytmn thingy that makes the adjustments to the earnings. The earnings are not safe until they are paid out. I do think that if we do an infraction that they should instruct instead saying it went against guideline. Then tell us how it goes against guidelines since they are suggestions anyway. Guidelines are usually variable and not set in stone so they need a solid method of determining our worthiness in the discussions. They frown upon dissention and usually delete such discussions. Censorship is alive here. I say to keep track of the posts you do on a daily basis. I keep a small binder and that way you see when they do things and how much. I have not lost really overall and am encouraged with the increased earnings. Good luck to you!

well buddy i have had this happen to me a couple of times before.i could see my earnings go done everytime i refreshed the page.it was really disheartening to see something like that happen.this is because mylot goes through the posts once in a while and deletes out the posts and the threads and all the posts under it which have violated ,and the earning too eventually get reduced.that is why that would have happened.you might have responded under these threads and your discussions would have got deleted.dont get too disheartened buddy because things like this happen.keep having fun and posting.

It's getting near to payout, and when it gets close to payout time, Mylot tend to "clean up" which mean deleting discussions that do not follow the guidelines and rules. If you posted a response to a discussion that gets deleted, it means that your earnings drop accordingly. It has NOTHING to do with rating responses and discussions at ALL. The first person who responded to this discussion should be ashamed of themselves for telling you that! Try to make sure in future that you respond to discussions that follow the guidelines, and don't answer discussions that are only one or two sentences long. I find a lot if times that those are the ones that get deleted by mylot Admin. Keep on posting, and a Happy Easter to you :o)

It's possible that you might not have done something wrong.Sometimes, when we post in discussion that is a copy paste of another discussion without knowing that it's a copy paste, then the whole discussion gets deleted and with that our earnings are also decreased. There is hardly a way to know that the discussion was actually a copy and not original. The best way to counter this is to post in friend's discussions who you know write their original posts and don't copy someone else.

Don't worry you haven't done anything wrong. It just sometimes happens that a discussion is deleted and if you have contributed to that discussion then your earinings are lost as well. It is usually only a small amount that you lose as most discussions are not deleted just the few that for some reason have broken rules.
