do you remember your parents' birthday?

our perents always remember our birthday,everytime on my birthday,my mother will ring to me,and make dumplings for me no matter i am at home or mot.but i do not remember their birthday until last year.i heard one say:child's birthday is mother's terrible day,so i will celebrate my mother's birthday afterwards. what about you?

yes,friend,you are right,as the children ,we should know and remember the birthdays of our parents.for me ,i know them when i was a little girl.and when my mother or my father 's birthday,i will ask for them to make many delicious food and buy a cake for me ,lol....but it happened when i was young.now ,i am out of my home,and at their birthday,i will buy a gift and send out home for them,as to show i miss them.also,when my birthday,they will send message or make call phone to ask me to buy some good thing for myself.lol...

now,i also call them to show my appreciation to them on their birthday,but because of the long distance,I do not send gifts to them .I do not know when I can have a party for them.

It's the other way round for us. I always remember the birthdays of my parents, but my mother recently confessed to me she has trouble remembering my exact birthday and I'm her only child! I'm afraid I don't see how the birthday of a child would be horrible for the mother, my mother was always overjoyed to see me happy with my presents and such.

I'm a family oriented person...every member of the family I memorized their bday's and make sure that i wouldnt forget it...coz' they always make sure that my bday is always special..that's why I'm repaying their goodness..

I should know my parents' birthday and I know.though not everytime i gave them gifts .for parents the gift is not the important thing,children happy they happy.

Yes I dio remember...Mothers on feb 23rd and fathers on march 4th..I remember it clearly and wherever Im,What ever Im doing,I call them up and wish them atleast even if I dont give some gifts...They dont celebrate it and all...We children are of the opinion that they should.But thay says they are too old for all these things...

Yes, I remmember my parents birthday. I am not in habit of wishing anybody his/her birthday greetings. I forget things very easily because of workload but I am amzed as you asked the question and I had the answer . their birthdates are 14th october ,1947 and 11 th november 1957 , yes I'm sure now that I know exact dates. lol

Yes, i do remember my parent's birthday because we always celebrate or greet one another if somebody in the family is celebrating his/her birthday.

yes, angela2006, I am quite agree your point, maybe in China, there are lots of children don't know when is the birthday of their parenst.it is common issue,even me ,it is 2years ago , I read a similar past in internet ,then I rember my parents birthday, and sent them gifts every year.
