Something weird...

...happened to me today. I'm selling some products online, as an affiliate. Because my budget at the time is... er, you know (lol!) I'm mostly using free ways to do it, incl. free classified ad sites. I've been spammed before by people who want to sell me their stuff instead of buying mine.
OK, I would never do it myself of course, but it's something I'm able to understand, and to forgive, but today I got a very strange mail. A woman answered to one of my ads but she didn't ask any information about the product, oh, no. She saw my profile, became interested in my humble person, and sent me a mail to ask my picture, hoping 'we can move from here', as she said... If it were a man, perhaps I could understand it, at least I'd try, but a woman... Luckily the site is hiding mail adresses of the marketers and she could contact me through the site only.
What is that, a dark side of affiliate marketing? Dear fellow money makers on myLot, has something like that happen to you also? Is it usual, i.e., I'd like to know, can it happen to me again?

I get so much crap in my email because my name is being given and sold around due to the stuff I do online it is unbelievable..I have had the african mafia approach month aftger month to embezzle 40 odd million bucks out of their respective countries and to give me a 40% cut..quite scary.. love african music but I don't want to get involved in mafia style practices!!
