Why does Bush keep sending our young men and women to war?

I don't get it why Bush keeps sending our young men and women over to War. Hasn't he killed enough of our Soldiers? What more will it take for him to see what it has done to our country? Its unreal how a president can be so careless about the people who "supported" him through his elections. I feel like the troops should have been pulled a long time ago. Its not fair that he keeps sending more men and women out there that are leaving kids and families behind that need them. What more will it take? How many more lives can he watch get blasted away? How many more families will he destroy? Why does he keep sending them? Why?

Why should we pull our troops out of a country after we have toppled their government and leave them to a insecure facade of a government that will only fall in to anarchy if we leave right now? Should we have gone in to begin with? That's irrelevant at this point in time. They have no stability and that is our fault. Isn't it our responsibility to at least bring them some sense of stability before leaving them?

One of the biggest lessons in history is to learn from the mistakes that others have already made. The Middle East has endured fighting for centuries. It's based on religious disagreement. There is no simple fix. Russia tried, realized it was impossible, and bailed. The US is now too deep to just simply up and leave. Doing that would simply open the door for another extremist to take over. They need to bring the government back up to strength, and let the people control themselves. One of the signs that is up in a lot of the army/police centers reminds US troops that they're not there to do the job, they're there to help the Iraqi's do the job for themselves.
