Optimist vs. Pessimist Negative vs. positive

Do you tend to think the glass is full or empty? Do you tend to lean towards negativity or positivity. Do you try to find the good in everyone or do your search for the bad in everyone?My mom seems to think that if you expect the worse you won't get disappointed. But I believe that if you expect good things to happen they will. What do you believe?

if you expect the worst then you will get the worst in people. because you get what you focus on and think about most. me i think the glass is full to the top. i see good things in everything. i expect great things and won't settle for anything less.

I like to think of myself as a realist. But if I had to choose from the two I am probably Pessimistic, which works for me, because I tend to disappoint easily.
