Is it worthwhile ? unexpected events along shortcuts can happen ... the discomfort of a very rough ride !

I don't think taking shortcuts does any good in the long run as it is rough and bumpy ride. I beleive in life one should take long route as the success that way is more permanent and fulfilling.
