Always Love Your Mother

Any day is the perfect day to show that special someone in your life, "I love you", "I miss you", "I hope you feel better", or "Happy Birthday." As today is the anniversary of my adopted mother's death and I do feel very sad as I remember today 5 years ago. Oh those years they go so quickly but on the other hand they go so slow as the pain still remains when we lose the one that we love so respect your mother even when your mother is angry with you or you are upset with her as you cannot turn back the clock once your mother is gone. Then it is too late and if not for your mother then you would not be here in the first place. so now in my own life I have lost both mother's my real mother as well passed away as well so now I have no mother and wish they were both still here with me to talk to me. So hold your mother close as otherwise you will never get the chance to do this once your mother has passed away. So remember to tell your Mother that you love her.

I love my mother a lot and can't imagine life without her . Mother has been always there for me through all pains and failures I faced. I have got a short poem to share with you -- For as long as I can remember you have been by my side to give me support to give me confidence to give me help For as long as I can remember you have always been the person I looked up to so strong so sensitive so pretty For as long as I can remember and still today you are everything a mother should be For as long as I can remember you have always provided stability within our family full of laughter full of tears full of love So much of what I have become is because of you and I want you to know that I appreciate you, thank you and love you more than words can express .

As you know my friend My Mum and Dad both have Alzheimer's , I tell them every day I love them , I see them every day and I also ring them every night just to check they are OK , I tell all my family I love them , since hubby was so ill I realise how easily we could loose our loved ones , so yes I agree tell them now , before it's too late xx

That is a lovely post. I miss my Mum every day - even after many years I still cry when I hear a piece of music, or anything that reminds me of her. So I agree with you - treasure your dear Mother because one day she will not be around anymore, and then it will be too late to tell her how much you love her.

This is such good advice Kathy. We all tend to take our parents for granted. I learned this lesson after my father passed away; I didn't tell him how much I loved him, or appreciated all the things he did for me, but now he's gone. My mother is in a nursing home in the UK (as you know I live in Australia), but I write to her every week, and I always tell her how much I love her. I send photos of my kids (she has another great-grandchild due in 3 weeks), and we are closer now than we have ever been - because we communicate our feelings! Mothers are very special - let's treasure them and let them know it.

Yes Abbey it is true that we should treasure our mothers as we never know the day when they will be taken from us and feel guilty for not giving them the love that mothers do deserve.

I am so sorry that you adopted mother passed away. I appreciate your words. I still have my mother, she is 70 years old, and I believe we need to be close with her and love her so much since we don't know when she can be gone.

You gave some great advice. As the saying goes " you don't realize what you have till its gone" I believe that you need to cherish the ones you love while you have them. To treat each day as if it was your last. I am sorry that this day is so sad for you.

I think you're right that we should always love our mothers. But,vocally i don't tell my mother that i love her,but i do it some other ways of expression. Our parents will not be always living with us in this world till we die, they're going to pass out one day,and so i think we should also not create any bad relation with parents.

yep.. that's the first thing that came up on my mind when I had read your message.. I do love my mom and I really miss her 'coz right now I'm away with my family because of my work.. I realized that its too late to hug them and I tell them that I love thhem and I really, really miss them.. I'm alone here in the new city, trying to live and enjoy my life with my new friends and officemates.. but I always keep in contact with my family, 'coz its really hard to be away from your own home.. before its too late, to all of those in their family right now, show them your love... :)
