Aww...he's so sweet!!!

Well today is my sixth wedding anniversary to my most wonderful husband. And he surprised me today by doing something that I would have never thought he'd do. He ORDERED flowers and had them delivered to our door! They're a stunning one dozen pink/ white roses in a HUGE vase with purple little spray flowers too. Oh and a nice pink bow. Not only that but he also ordered me BALLOONS and a teddy bear! I love balloons but he doesn't buy them usually! I got three balloons - one huge one that says 'I love you' and two small ones that say 'I love you' and 'Happy Anniversary'. The teddy bear is quiet adorable and quiet cuddly!! I'm so excited! He usually goes out and gets them but he took last night off work so I guess he decided to order them. Oh and I can't forget about the sweet card! It says "Thank you for making each year better than the last. I love you".
I'm so excited!! We're going to dinner in a few hours at our favorite restaurant too. And maybe a movie. Although they're really isn't anything I am dying to see right now out so we might not.
I just couldn't contain my excitement so I had to share that with all of you!! Thanks for listening:)
Oh I attached the pic I uploaded from my phone. So it's small and I took it in front of the window cause I didn't really have anywhere else to sit it. But you'll get the idea anyway:)

It is nice to be able to have such milestones. :)
Even nicer when they remember and do something that we think that they would never do! :)

Thank you both so much! It is really nice :) I knew he remembered but I really wasn't expecting anything at all actually. He had asked me what I wanted and I told him I'd just save the money towards the camera I want cause I didn't really want anything inexpensive anyway. Of course he does usually give me flowers too but since he didn't work the night before I assumed I wouldn't get them or he'd run out that day for them. So it was a real surprise that he had just had them delivered. :)

Congratulations on the anniversary and the loving husband.. you deserve it! I love it when they do something sweet in the morning. That way you are reminded all day of how much you are loved! My question is, what happens after the dinner and movie? *wink, wink!*

Wow! You are sooo lucky! I haven't gotten flowers of any kind for about two years. You right he is sweet. I wish I was as lucky as you!

Oh my!! I'm sorry dear! Tell that man of yours you want some flowers!! Really some kind of flowers (even if it's only one rose) is kind of a standard for us. Or you could say a requirement. Really that and a card is all I ask of him. I was just taken by surprise that they were delivered. I wish you all the love and happiness.

Hey, CONGRATULATIONS to u both on your anniversary.....That sounds really gr8 for such a surprise.....I completely agree with you that in our marriage lives, we always wonder for surprises and that too we all know abt our patners but we always expect somewhere or else to be something happen lik ethis that really blows up a gr8 happiness between our lives.....I also have some similar kinda experience to share with you all.....although we had just got married in jan'07.....but on completion of our first month anniversary, I got a big surprise from my hubby.....He got a diamond ring and two sweet sweet cards for me.....I was astonished looking at that, coz getting a gift that too such a gr8 one on our compltion of just a first month of our marriage...........wooooooooowwwwwww, I was so happy and really wanna confess I luv my hubby more than my life.....

That's so sweet! Aren't husbands just great?! lol Congratulations on your anniversary, it sounds like you must've had a really nice one. I hope my husband will do something that nice for me on our anniversary one day! hehe We haven't had one yet since we just got married, lol. Maybe in a couple years! lol

Yes it is! He doesn't do these things often but when he has his mind set on it he sure does it right! He knows it's important to me and a successful relationship to be expressive and appericative. And that is a great thing because a lot of men and woman alike don't always know it or act on it.

AWWWWWWW...that's wonderful. Isn't it nice to know there are still sweet guys out there and even more wonderful that yours is one of them:) I would have cried from love overload. And he probably gave you that "AW Shucks" look too. The one that says "You'll always be special in my eyes". I'm so happy for you and I don't even know you. I glad you have a great anniversary.

Nothing over the top happened. We went to dinner at our favorite restaurant as planned. And before we could leave it started snowing!! Our dinner was great. When we got home the hubby had to deal with the dog for a few minutes. She broke her cable the other day and Walmart didn't have the one we normally use in stock so he had to get one that wasn't as sturdy and that was about 5 feet longer. Which put her in reach of my flower beds and the wisteria. She had got the wisteria vines all wrapped up in her cable. So he had to cut her loose and cable tie her cable up so it wouldn't be so long. Then watched Pulp Fiction. And I fell asleep after that. But it was a very nice evening :)
