Me & my other half plan on having company over this time around for Easter.. Instead of us going over to relatives house this year.. And company is bringing ham, & we decided to make a turkey as well so there is a variety to choose from.. Well this is my first time ever making turkey & I want it to turn out just RIGHT.. Does anyone have any tips they can give me seeing as this is my first time around cooking this type of meat? Any tips on how to keep the turkey moist instead of turning dry? Or tips on thawing out this type of meat? Or any other tips one can give me due to there experiences with cooking this type of meat?? If you all could give me as many tips as you can it would be greatly appreciated. I am nervous making it as it is not only for me & my other half this time around.. But for company as well.. So I'd greatly appreciate anyone who is willing to give me tips due to there experiences of making this type of meat! . . Thanks for sharing with me! xx

Don't forget to turn on the oven.LOL as I did the last family holiday. But seriously, My turkey usually turns out great. I don't really have a recipe that I follow.I go bye the the time on the plastic wrapper. If I see the turkey is turning brown I will usually spoon the juice on it and make a tent of aluminum foil and place it light on top to prevent it from burning. Be sure to use a meat thermometer to make sure it is done.May you and your family have a nice Easter and good luck. You will do fine.
