I have come across some places where you can get freebies for kittens .I was looking for free stuff for a friends pet charity and came across these.This program is a spay/neuter program and they try to have give away stuff for new owners that will spay/neuter their kittens to encourage it.What is your opinion of the spay/neuter programs for cats?good or bad?Free stuff for your kittens

I love my kitties, they are my furry kids.
Both are fixed, and both stay indoors.
I think that we have enough unwanted kitties out there, so all pets should be fixed, unless they are being bred. ++ again sugar.

I agree . I have taken in so many animals that others have thrown away that I now help when I can with a spay and nueter program.This program spays,nueters,does feline lek test,gives all shots all for $50..so alot of people are having cats done.Every little bit helps.

Well I don't have any kittens at the moment. They have all grown but those are some nice free things to get. I would have loved to have it back when I got my last set. I do have two that need to be spayed. Just haven't had the money when they aren't in heat. Have to love when that happens. My one sounds like a banshee during that time. If you are looking for low cast spaying/nuetering you can call here: 1-800-248- Spay or 1-800-321-Pets and they will give you ones for your area.

Polly,As you can see Emeraldisle stated that she was having them spayed and weather or not she does is her business..I feel like you are crashing in here to flame everybody...The friends that take part in my discussions are not here for your judgemental high-handed remarks.Please reframe from further ones..I welcome you here but please be nice..Thanks

I won't bother checking the links pal as I don't have any cats or kittens , I love them though , who wouldn't , My Mum has always been scared of Cats , I don't know why really , I don't think she does either really , they are just like wee balls of fluff so cuddly and snugly , xx

And I'm sure that Gabs found wonderful homes for all of them...It's really not appropiate to critize someone when you haven't even asked weather she placed the kittens or not..You don't know anything about Gabs....You don't know the circumstances and you have jumped on my friend Gabs...I think you should appolize to her...Maybe you didn't mean it the way it came out and you obviously don't know Gabs and how she is with animals or you would not have said what you did.

for me being a cat lover, I cannot understand why anyone would ask do you love your kitten because there could only be one answer to that question lol,

yes i am, i have 9 kittens and 5 big ones, and i 1 dog. if you asked me if i love them oh yes i do. when they are sick, i experience without sleep because i am worried with their situation, and i also feed them, i personally feed them.i also went home early if they are sick and take care of them until they are recovered.

We have 25 cats in the house (2 of them the new roomie - have to think of a new thing to call her, she's been here a year.) This includes the 5 of the 8 that came in since Halloween - none of those fixed. None of them left this house unfixed and now all of them are fixed.
Do I fix pets? YOU BET CHA!!!
The last kittens in the house, the 2 that came in &, after getting fixed, found new homes.
Last year, 2006, I didn't find any cats homes, but I only got 2 in before the rush at the end of the year.
In 2005 I found homes for 4, in 2003, 5. Mostly kittens, but also some of the mom's, all the adults were fixed when they found homes.
Now I'm trying to arrange to fix a few friends' cats.

I think its a good idea.I love cats and i hate to see all these homeless cats on the streets.And doing this would level the population and really do more good then harm.
