My daughter has two Twins, Fraternal twins. she called me yesterday and told me that one of the twins broke out in a rash I ask her what did she give them to eat? they are 10 mos old. I think that one of them were allergic to what they had eat. It was Tunafish she said one broke out in hives but the other one didn't. I told her to call the hospital and ask them what should she do. I think he is alright now. is there any home remedies for this?

It does sound like a food allergy to me. Your daughter should talk to the doc, I do know you can buy Benedryl for children. I hope the little one is ok.

I am not sure the age is for when you can give them benedryl, thats why you would have to ask the doctor.

Never try a home remedy for a baby that eats a new food then breaks out in a rash. Get immediate medical care, begin with calling your pediatrician. A baby could have an allergic reaction, and this can be serious. Did the tunafish have mayonaise included? Be sure to tell baby's doc all new foods' ingrediants.

Yes I know it had Mayonaise in it or Miracle whip, my daughter thinks it was the onions I say it was the tunafish. thanks for input.

Rashes can be caused by all sorts of things, food being one. Perhaps they had a visitor that was holding them and was wearing a perfume or laundry detergent they didn't like. They can have allergies tested for at the doctors, so that's a good idea to visit the doctor. A good home remedy would be a calamine lotion. Or a bath in baking soda. that helps the itch. Just keep an eye on it.
