What traditions do you still hold true

It seems as time goes on you start to create your own traditions and leave behind the old ones. But know matter how hard you can try some of the old ones stay around for a long time. One of my favorite ones is one my wife and I started when the kids were very young and to this day we still hold true to it. almost every holliday all the kids come over with their familys and we have game night to the wee hours in the morning. So fun and I love spending time with the family.

When I was little, my grandparents started a tradition of having an indoor picnic every year on the first day of spring. We would spread out a tablecloth on the floor and put all of our potted plants around it, and then sit on the floor and have a picnic lunch. It was really fun. For the past three years, my boyfriend and I have carried out the tradition, since I don't live with my grandparents anymore. I will probably do this with my kids if I ever have any.

that is so freaken cool, did I just say freaken I use to get mad at the kids when they said it. anyways I really like that that is so cool.
