The Longhorns, awakened my interest in college football again, that had been missing for several years! I was so glad, that they went as far as they did, but i was happy for them, because they were great! I miss playing football! So how do you like Pennsylvania? I'm from Texas, also! Ever heard of Wichita Falls, I've been to Pennsylvania, a lot, I was a truck driver and used to go there a lot, I liked it , and I liked the different types of food they have up there! Oh, and I really liked seein the Omish with the horse and buggies on the roads!! Isn't that neat? anyway , you keep Hook'n'm longhorn!

Hi, yep I know where Wichita Falls is, I lived in Texas all my life up til 2 yrs ago. I like it up here, I think I'm the only one around here that gets excited when it's going to snow! haha They do eat some different stuff up here. And I have to agree, see the Omish with the horse and buggies is neat. Of course I still get the remark "you're not from around here are ya?" due to my accent. Hook'm horns

Being a native Texan myself is there any other college in Texas??? hahaha
My youngest daughter is the one who got me into watching the Longhorns play football. She has to be one of the, if not THE biggest longhorn fan there is. You should see her truck and her house, it is full of longhorn stuff. Yes, her wardrobe also.
They bought a boxer puppy over a year ago and guess what she named him? Bevo of course. haha His collar is a longhorn dog collar with a bandana attached to it.
I also know where Wichita Falls is. I have kinfolk living there. We used to go there when I was little during the summer at times to visit. I haven't been up there in several years.

I'm pretty sure she classifies as THE biggest Longhorn fan!!! haha, I'm a big fan but no one could beat her at it! lol And as for her pup's name.......doesn't surprise me a bit!! and what other kinda collar could he have?!?!?!

I'm originally from Texas and went to graduate school at UT. Ever since then I have been a big Longhorn fan; much more than for where I went to undergraduate school. I went to many games including at least one of the Texas-OU games and one on New Years day in the Cotton Bowl back when that was one of the major bowl games long before the BCS system. Austin was a great place to live and to go to school. I would actually like to move there even though it has grown a lot since I was last there. Hook em Horns.
