Do you use your blogs to earn money? How?

I've created a few blogs just to express myself. Then later on, I realized I could use them to earn some money. Putting some ads and everything. I know it will take a while to earn but knowing that i would makes me happy.

Today I decided to open a site, and to put all my refferal links in it, and to hope that a lot of people will see, and then sign up under me. This will bring me some money. I just need to work hard to design my new site, and to make him look pretty, so people will enjoy surfing in it.
