Living in Africa has always interested me and when I saw a series dedicated to the customs and life of African people, I instantly grabbed it. Alexander McCall Smith does a great job of describing the life there and I've always wondered if they had these technologies like us. They actually do and it's sort of like African teens also act a bit American now too. I also love his portrayal of Mma Ramotswe. It's really interesting how they do things there. How about you? What do you think about the series?

Hello dear jynxypanda. It is a very interesting and exciting experience to be able to live in any country in Africa, as this is a continent full of adventures for us to explore for its beautiful scenes and large varieties of wild animals on this mysterious land. From the detective agency series, I am sure that you have got to know more of this mysterious land about its people and their way of life. If I could have such a chance, I would like to choose to work and live there for one year or at least half a year for adventure and more knowledge of African people and their life and history. By the way, thank you so much for responding to my discussion, my dear friend.

Yes finally someone responded! lolz I forgot when I posted this discussion and it seems like nobody ever read them. Haha! I would also like the chance to go to Africa once. I'm sure it's such a beautiful country especially the animals! You see friend, I am some sort of animal lover and would even love to own a hippo.. But they are dangerous and big so... anyway. Thanks for responding! I'd really like to help Africans some day too...

I have read these books and love the style of writing and the portrayal of Africa. Not sure if I'd like to go to Africa as I don't like the sun.
