What got you tap dancing?

I've always loved the sounds that tap dancers make with their feet. My sister picked it up in high school, and then last year I started this whole obsession with watching Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly musicals, where they tap their hearts away! I was just mesmerized and thought I HAD to learn at least a little tap =). So I started tapping at the end of last year, and have continued since at the Experimental College at UC Davis.

I had this dream to learn how to tap dance too, since 30 years ago and still want to do it, I just need the money and will take the time to do it. Have fun.

I started tapping because my friends decided to take the class. I was going to do an adult Hip Hop class. I ended up really liking it because it's great exercise and fun. I am still thinking of taking Hip Hop though.
