I believe apathy of the people is the worst problem an country could ever have. When the people are complacent, corruption, crime, poverty, and many other serious issues can easily get out of hand, as can government power. People are supposed to take part in how they are governed, especially in "democracies" or a republic like the United States. If we don't hold our leaders accountable and adhere to the Constitution, we cannot expect our country to remain free and great. We move quickly toward tyranny if the majority of people become apathetic.

Poverty is the worst problem a country could ever have. With poverty can brought all the bad elements here on earth - crimes, corruption and the list goes on.. . If only we are endowed with richness, that is if all are equal, then nobody would commit a crime just to fill empty stomach. Nobody would accept money from government officials because they have enough to enjoy life. If poverty can be eliminated, there can be peace.

In my oppinion, the complete break down in the rule of law is perhaps the worst problem any country can have. When the rule of law is taken over by the law of the jungle, then every evil against humanity like crime, murder rate, corruptions, rape, etc, get the better of society and the best thing you can do for yourself or your family if you are a citizen of such a country is to quickly become a refugee, leave that country immediately. Have you ever imagined what life is like in Somalia or Dafur??

for me, it would be corruption. i guess its inevitable in every government, specially when you get higher positions. possibilities are endless. and worse, this opens other problems such as crime, poverty, unemployment, etc.. i really can't tell if theres a solution for corruption. because as long as there are people who are blinded by money, solving corruption is impossible..

Poverty is the worst problem. That's the reason why people commit crimes and migrate to other countries. They are desperate to be financially stable that they choose to earn money illegally than follow the rules and suffer the agony of being poor.
