Cookie Sheets

I have air bake cookie sheets that I have used for about 6 years now. The other day, I was at my mom's and tried to bake cookies. She has the old fashioned metal pans. My cookies just didn't turn out right. Does anyone else have a favorite pan that makes your job in the kitchen easier?

I'd never heard of air bake cookie sheets until reading this thread either, but I'm in OZ so that's probably why. My faveourite pan in the kitchen is my muffin tray. I get so much use out of it, not only for making muffins but also mini quiche, egg and bacon pies, mini meatloaves, individual serve puddings and more...

have you ever tried any of the silicon muffin pans? My sister in law bought some, and she said they are wonderful.

I have never used an air bake cookie sheet. I have cookie sheets from Wilton that I use all the time and I love them. They just seem to make the cookies bake just right every time.

Before our house burned 5 years ago, I had probably $5000 worth of Wilton pans and tips and stuff. I'd been purchasing them for years, and would make cakes for everyone for birthdays etc...

I have both types of sheets and prefer the air bake because I don't like real crisp cookies. Some people, like my sister, swear by the Pampered Chef stoneware pans.

I have Pampered Chef too. I like different pans for different things. I prefer my baking stones for biscuits, because they just brown on the bottom better. It's just a preference I guess...and what I'm used to.

I love my silpat baking sheet. It's great for cookies, but also for pizza, candy... actually, anything that you bake at all. Nothing sticks, even pralines. And to wash it off you just swipe it with a soapy sponge. I don't know how I made cookies with out it.

I have a friend that sells Pampered Chef. I have two baking stones that I bought from her and I love them as well. Once you have them seasoned, nothing sticks.

I have baking stones...and love them for bread. I use them for some kinds of cookies...peanut butter ones do really well on those...but most of the time I use my airbakes.

I have Wilton baking pans..but no cookie sheets. I think that's what my sister uses and she swears by them.
