When I was a boy, I used to meet my relatives, visted them or they came over to our place. We always had a nice meal and the kids went for egg hunting. Like, our parents used to hide some candies, swiss chocolate bunnies, painted eggs and other stuff and the children had to find it. The worst place to hide stuff like that was near the heating, 'cause the chocolate started to melt :-) Well, I was always quiet successful with finding my stuff :-) How are you guys celebrating easter? Any traditions?

I only celebrate Easter for my grandchildren, my Mum and my siblings and their kids because I'm Pagan and they're Christian. I celebrate Ostara on 21st March, from which, the Christian festival's name came. I hide Easter Eggs of different sizes around the garden for them to find, hand them a basket and let them go on their way. They're very good, because in case one finds more than another, they'll come back and share them out equally, which is quite nice to see. At Ostara, I colour eggs and put them in a basket, decorate the table with flowers, the eggs and candles, walk out in the countryside, weather permitting and a few other things to celebrate. Brightest Blessings and a very Happy Easter to you.

Hi :-P When I was a child, my parents would get candy for my brother and I, and we would always color eggs the night before. Then eat them on Easter morning. They would dress us up, and we would have to attend mass. (Church). I was raised catholic then. Afterwards, we went to my grandparents home and had a nice dinner. My grandparents always gave us Easter candy and gifts. One time we celebrated at my aunts, and all my cousins did the easter egg hunt for candy. I never participated. I was shy and never really cared. They were all younger than me, so I felt it was inmature. Back then I always wanted to be older. I guess now I always want to feel younger. Strange how that is... haha But yeah, that was a typical Easter tradition for years with my family back in America growing up. When I became a young adult (Teenager), I would still color eggs with my mother. But we sort of stopped the candy stuff. Sometimes she would give me jelly beans or chocolate bunnies. We always used to receive Easter Lillys from friends of my mothers. Actually, a customer my mom had for house cleaning. She always gave us a huge bouquet of Easter Lillys. They always reminded me of the old record players with the horns. LOL I hated those damn things. I would always sneeze, and they are just ugly. LOL
