todays top discussion- what should i do??????

Hey i see some of the discussions are in the first page shown as todays top discussion ....so please can you guys tell me how to make my discussion appear on the first page... 1.What type of discussion will make me to appear on the top discussion, 2.What type of discussion will fetch more no of replies... I have seen more people earning in this mylot..please share your experiences ...
